Sorry for doublepost, but I wonder what you guys think about the wacom intuos3 A6. Is it too small and doesn't worth it for its price of 150 bucks? Cheers
Thanks! KMiklas: I'm not 100% sure on the polycount, but roughly 150-200k I would imagine, since this is sim spec (that figure includes the full detail LOD0 for the interior).
Here's another update on my environment. So far I've recorded 150+ hours of footage that I will be editing down and narrating into tutorials. Will be releasing it later this month for a dollar.
pior - IIRC a modded 360 can use regular hard drives, instead of paying a ridiculous $150 for 120gb. Though imo that's not worth being banned over, hah.
Torque is a pretty cheap engine ($150) and has been around for a while, but one of the teams here are using Unity, and it seems quite nice. http://www.garagegames.com/products/tge
Yeah 125x125% for important stuff and then another 125x125% on top of that for the closeup stuff, about 150x150% total, or 156.25x156.25% if we're being anal :) . Whether you do 150% once or 125% twice doesn't make a big difference.
I wondered what happened to this.. should had been released a year ago at least. btw what are those times? 50-150 mins? Can't be the length of retopo.. drawing those patches shouldn't take that long.
Depends really, for terrain it can be useful ;) Though I agree that that particular implementation is rather heavy, you can achieve similar stuff with 100-150 instructions, it's just there might be stepping problems if the displacement is too large.
