Regardless of what you do, just make sure you take your time on it and shoot for higher quality. I see a lot of newer 3d artists rush through pieces as if they're an employee at McDeez trying to get out orders as quickly as possible. Art is all subjective, so do whatever the hell you want but just make sure it's tasteful… -

Didn't think there'd be a computer where we are but hey, there is. So, a 6 hour bus ride ended up taking us over 10 hours to head north through the mountains to the in-laws. Three quarters of the way there are bus breaks down, on the side of a mountain, in -20 degree weather. Quite literally in the middle of no where, too.… -

MP3 players with music that you like, played so loud all the squeaky sounds from exercise appartuses, and chav bastards talking is deafened out. if you play that stuff on full, while working the treadmill, with a pulse close to cardio (around 150-165 BPMs) after a while, you'll… -

Cheers guys, just pimpin my skills to pay the bills. Steakhouse you have a good point, however I deliberately wanted to draw attention to the head/shldr's. I chose lots of low chroma colours to help make the vivid armour stand out, to give the character focus. (a little like how a painte would place focus on one element).… -

For the first character the eyelids feel very prominent which might not be a bad thing but they feel a little thick maybe it's just the angle. For the second character the face looks strange to me kind of manish. Looking at all the work you posted it seems like you have a tendency to use grey too much in your skin tones.…
