i dont know what your going on about because the g4 player wont stream for more than 2 seconds at a time. But fuck G4 and anything they do, fucking killed techTV, dicks. -

The reason for the *no Normal maps* is also that you don't get any normal map compression issues, texture streaming issues and overall the reflection tends to look better when you go with really high polycounts for vehicles. -

I think it's also worth considering things like onlive, where the/some mobile platforms may not even need to have assets tailored for them, as the visuals could be streamed to them from a 'next gen' machine. -

I'm hoping that we can get enough organization going so that we can, on next reset, create one "community" spawn tower, hugely tall, and have it stream loot right as spawn for all to take. -

Yeah, I knew that, but the RSS feed cuts it off at 6. I guess I could just download the old ones :P It's just nice to stream because I'm anal about my memory hehe. -

I got one for my GF, SSD and linpus seems great for web browsing, streams flash videos fine but not in full screen, plays avis fine too. The boot time is very quick in linux too.
