The environment is already looking pretty good with the geo you have so far! Good stuff man. You say you sorta have some idea's of how you might texture it in your head? Let's hear/see some of em  Doesn't hurt to start things off with a peer into your initial vision for this piece. What kind of sci-fi scene is it?…
Just to help you with the tracking, racer445 says something like that in this tutorial: http://cg.tutsplus.com/tutorials/autodesk-3ds-max/project-workflow-creating-a-next-gen-sci-fi-prop-day-1/
Ok guys I have a poll up. Hoping to get some opinions on what to do for a basic starting point. Keep scope in mind when you choose. Sci Fi Exterior wont mean "huge sci fi city" it will more likely be something pulled far in. http://poll.pollcode.com/zgai
Well well... as i read about the contest i was shoked quite a bit: 80ts and 70ts sci fi with their extremely flashy colors and bulky forms, really gave me shivers along my spine. (I've never done anything like that before, nor even in the slightest direction) But let's get started: References: Searching for a theme was…
What I meant was perhaps the Samaritan demo takes place within the same universe as the next UT. I wouldn't say so, UT is usually sci-fi that's further in the future, but ya never know.
I personally would like to have this kind of skin in CS:GO but many people always say it looks stupid and is very simple (to do), however I think that now it fits the theme given (sci fi).
i habe no idea what she's doing,a friend of mine says she looks like some sci-fi boxing chick or somesuch. here's a quick wip shot of a collab i'm working on
I bought the sci fi floor and the rubble tutorial. This really couldn't have come at a better time, as I'm about to begin work on a sci-fi project that's reliant on modular modelling. The tutorials look great, but they're taking a while to download.. I expected server issues though, hopefully it won't be too long. :)
I agree with this. The scene that stuck out most is the sci-fi scene. The entire scene is way too noisy. I'd suggest looking at some popular sci-fi games/movies and studying what makes their corridors so interesting. You'll notice that they have a lot of detail; however, it isn't all over the place.
The Sci Fi wall was originally part of a larger environment I had started awhile ago. I was aiming at a cleaner sci fi art style. I was conflicted on whether I should have the Age of Conan section as my first image since the initial image doesn't show any work.
