hehe its funny watching an sf3 video then a sf4 vid right after. Sf3's animation and movement feels so much more fluid. Sf4's movement in comparison looks slow and deliberate
Unity and Unreal seem to have similar VR capabalities so one is not really better than the other. There are other best practices, no camera movement, no forced movement and make UI physically floating items in space.
Get the unreal plugin either from algorithmic or the market place. Read through the documentation or search for some tubes to start to get a sense for how it works. https://support.allegorithmic.com/documentation/display/integrations/Unreal+Engine
thanks, that works, any chance of changing the naming of the new documents? instead of all being named displacement it could be the name of the document it was generated from plus a prefix or something like that, easier to save them all.
if the shake was like that of someone holding a camera recording the transformation it would have been alot better. ie. slight movement that's somewhat natural from holding a camera, none of this whild movements where they arn't needed
In the dDo menu, there's two options: Copy Mask to All Maps, and Copy Layer to All Maps. The first will copy any mask to all of the relative layers on multiple documents, the second will copy a single layer to multiple documents.
Yeah it's under preferences> interface> turn off open documents as tabs and turn off floating document window docking then it is just like cs3 and you can tell what you're doing with multiple images open.
I suggest reading our performance page : https://support.allegorithmic.com/documentation/display/SPDOC/Performances Also please be aware of the minimum spec required for Substance Painter : https://support.allegorithmic.com/documentation/display/SPDOC/Technical+Requirements
Using simple grass wind for curtain movements, I noticed the wind intensity moves the curtain in the y axis direction, is there a way to modify the curtain intensity movement in the X axis direction. I am currently studying the nodes that are inside the simple grass wind. Any idea where this can be changed?
If they're relative to parent their resolution will inherit from their parent. You can try changing it to absolute (but you wouldn't want that on .sbsar's you export). You can check the documentation for more info. https://support.allegorithmic.com/documentation/
