I think you might have the srgb button unticked in your texture slot in marmoset. Click on the options button next to the texture and see if the srgb button is ticked. You want it ticked for every texture other than your normal maps. I think marmoset loads textures in linear space with a gamma of 1 with it unticked it…
Have you thought about unifying the characters under a colour tone? They are both very linear RGB, if you pushed it down a pastel tone it could help them bounce of each other. Its probably to early to tell until you get your scene together. But possibly food for thought when you come to polish. Looking forward to seeing…
You guys got him in game! Yay, Glad to see it!! I think the ground silhouette is fairly uninteresting. You could counteract it by having his tail squiggle around or his head "search". He is very linear and anything you can do to break it up will be good. As far as textures, I'd work on detailing the balloons, and the fur…
Here are the ideas I have got for the two subjects To create a hotkey combination: 1.Once the keyboard layout dialog shows up, click to set on the "Combination Hotkey" option inside the dialog. 2.Click to turn on the wanted keys. Or press down those acual keys on keyboard. 3.Clic OK button to exit the dialog. To find the…
Here's something more recent. This was done with graphite pencil on 60lb strathmore sketch paper and took me about 3 hours to draw up. I didn't feel like it needed to be colored and the fact there is little shadow is my decision as well. I think it looks better, but that's my opinion. The picture is basically just a girl…
Lol I like how this thread turned into a "Where Final Fantasy went wrong" thing. My bro has a PS3 and I haven't played a Final Fantasy all the way through since X-2. Which was fun but I'd never pick it up again. I actually loved X, and I think XIII is suppose to have the same non overworld "linear" type deal right?…
There have been many games listed, but the only one that I'd consider great enough to be a must play before you die would be: -Betrayal at Krondor- Betrayal at Krondor (in the context of what it brought to the table for its day in age) is a masterpiece. (Don't bother with the sequel: Return to Krondor). It is also abandon…
Each of his feet seem to land at the same time. I would say delay each of them coming up. The head is movement is very linear. Make it move in curves like someone mentioned. For the jump, the anticipation is good, but I think you need more height. And delay his tail a little more too, give it some whip action. Also, he…
I've been going through eat3d.com's pillar tutorial DVD and even though it is done in Max, I've been able to follow along in Maya, except for one part. When he makes rebarb, he creates a basic straight peice and then uses something in Max called a spline(?) to make it bend. Not just a linear bend, but control point…
Hey all, Having a weird Max lighting issue in the viewport. I'm using 2011 Design, and have been doing a lot of pre-rendered Architectural stuff recently, including messing with linear workflow and gamma adjustments so the likelihood I've switched something on/off and screwed something up is high. Problem is, I have no…
