NIIICE. i can't help the feeling that water and some ground textures were rendered (painted?) at different angles then rest of things. also, highlights on water might be too large compared to the boat. but, those details on bridges... :)
Totally agree. Over all I am really digging this guy but a slightly flatter face and squashed nose bridge would help a ton. Great work.. You are inspiring me to do another fan art.
How about making a little 'bridge' out of stones leading to the little stair? Something like this: Would make a little bit more sense to me than just going down the stair and falling into the water. :P

As mentioned earlier it would be easier to help you if you post the uvmap for us to look at. In cases like this i steal pixel density from the areas around, from the nose and bridge of the nose, this usually works okay.
this is extremely cartoony character, so really the proportions don't have to be perfect, I think it looks fine the way it is, if anything i think you need more color in your texture and the bridge of the nose can be thicker
Yeah, R has an EXCELLENT point here. Jumping from company to company every 6-8 months is terrible for your reputation. It burns some bridges. Not talking from personal experience or anything ... just sayin'.
I can't see xaltar's paintover (imageshack is touch and go for me), but it finally dawned on my why the columns look off, whereas in the previous shots they were fine: the bridge/tunnel bit in the bottom left corner.
Yar, they weren't supposed to be lights at all, just additional pillar support. The lights are on the bottom sides. Anyways working on Hi poly coming along. Mostly done with the middle part. Decided to go for a metallic bridge design.
