day 1: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6v3714_DrCs day2: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=btMLA4Z8WOE Low down is streamlined modeling tools, extruding, edgeloops, bridging..the whole shebang. A bridge to keyshot and a special keyshot deal for $250. Oh and the real topping on the cake... 64bit.
Breaking Point mod for Arma 3. Think dayz but PVP not survival focused. Excellent ballistics and medical system. All around fantastic multiplayer FPS; but a very long and intense experience. It really takes a toll sometimes but man you can have some awesome experiences.
day5 of stone watch... woot, i pissed out... some soft tissue. looks like a blood clot. urine wasnt filled with any more blood than before... so i'll say its more positive than not... i got it in a jar. i'm thinking i'll name it gauss.
this is a big project but I don't have any special method, just following the skull's forms and facial anatomy knowledge and artworks from professional artist in this field such as Alfons Kennis,Elisabeth daynes and John Gurche. and this my fir experience with facial reconstruction. thank you for your comment.
Dayme! Yeah, they definitely work well together. Really cohesive. I guess the only thing I'm hoping for is less symmetry on the trousers, but it's a minor quibble. I can already picture the final beauty shot. Here's hoping your texturing's as good as your high-poly skills. Then this'll be a keeper for sure.
Hi guys and girls, I'v been making a few game assets, im hoping to get them into dayz standalone if i can work out how. This is my first time 'successfully' making a low poly and baking down textures to it, they arent amazing, but I learned a lot doing it. will be adding more as I go,
Hey, I am a freelance hard surface artist looking for some off-site work. I worked on games like DayZ (standalone), Operation Black Mesa, Guard Duty and several other modifications. as of the current release of toolbag, there is quite a big difference between the gloss/roughness response and UE4. Uruks did of course exist, what didn't was the Uruk-hais (until Saruman created them). I like my LOTR lore but I also realize this is a game for another kind of audience. Still hoping that at some point I'll see a middle earth based game that's more walking simulator/dayz than button mashing power fantasy.
