I need to get a good head base mesh so I don't have to start from a sphere. Here's 1 hour in zBrush. Still getting the hang of it. I'll be thrilled (and, frankly, really surprised) if any one can tell who it is.
Working some 3d rust out and getting to know sculptris better. Diggin it over zbrush at the moment. About 60-90 minutes based on Marlon Brando in apocalypse now.. I still can't quite figure out how to sculpt eyelids.
Sculptris really surpriced me i must say! So easy and fast without having to worry about the polys, really great for consepts :) Here are my first tries at sculptris, 3rd one i took into zbrush for alittle more work:
Looks great, 2cat! The form of the fur is so assured, but I'm worried the nose is off from the concept. Love to see if you take it further. As for me, well, here's a speedy Neal Degrasse Tyson, after a long, long ZBrush dry spell...
Here's my 1 hour lunch sculpt today. Based off of Karl Lindberg "Ocean Imp" Might go back and make teeth separate subtool and do some render passes. As of now only the eyes are separate and just a basic zbrush render.
Hi guys im new here and i dont really have any experience in 3d modeling. i got a trial for Zbrush a couple months ago and while i was messing with the tools i got this thing About 15-30 minutes of work
Ah, that forum :) Yes I would definitely try to work more with Zbrush, I've found it very rewarding. Trying to push realism more than forms from now on. Probably going to do some eye and nose studies instead of another sculpt.
Ok I dunno a got damn thing about organic modeling, forced to do this for a project being the only modeler for my company, never finished cause the project got canceled. base model in max, the rest in zbrush. about 3hours long ago.
thanks for the kind words guys, here's my latest 3 @dansher you can do both, import an existing model, or make one from scratch with zspheres, zbrush also has some basic primitive shapes you can load up and sculpt on.
I'm a complete novice at zbrush so i'm gonna start doing at least a sculpt a day, mainly studies to try and improve before i start the full character im planning. Heres todays effort, around 30 mins. Still a bit 'squishy' :shifty:
