Yeah, in realtime, if your not careful with your normal maps, you can get some lighting errors there. We call them "cat asses" :) its always a good idea to avoid having a vert with that many edges attached to it. It can be a real "cat-ass-trophy" he heh.. I crack my self up:) -

I know this wasn't directed at me but Event Horizon kicked my ass back in the day. Towards the end i was the only one still up, and my friend ripped ass right befhind me at one of the most tense moments in the movie. I'm not making this up, one of the biggest scares of my life. -
looking to buy the new rtx 3070 for my pc... have a question about hardware:
my pc is about 4 or 5 years old. its a Core i7 6800K @ 3.40GHz, 64 Gb RAM, 600 Watt PSU, with 1 ssd, 1 hd and 1 external ssd. Mobo is Gigabyte X99-SLI-CF with quadro k2200. Can I take out the old quadro and install the new rtx 3070 (I have enough room for it) ? -

spec i've never had any problems in my years making games with 5 sided polys (unless you are mesh smoothing then they could cause problems) but as long as the invisible edges are not doing dumb things it should all be fine, and besides the 5 sided polys are by far the least of this chaps problems. one thing i had to learn… -

The position on the chair it's pointless with this matter. If you don't do exercise you will be a fat ass yes or yes. -

As much as I like Lian-Li, the particular chassis you picked out leaves minimal room for your cpu heatsink, and may have troubles with the ripjaw RAM, because of the way the PSU is situated in front of the motherboard... The difference in cost between the 30GB SSD and the 60GB SSD is only $30, which is well worth it imho. -

Thanks Equanim for the great post. I've sent you a PM but forgot to ask one question... to code HTML and CSS, don't I need something like Dreamweaver? And last but not least, HTML, XHTML or HTML5... bit confused :-) I guess HTML5 and CSS3. Same for CSS, always go with the newest if learning from 0?
