Anyone? I have the feeling that the array does not work well with the unwrap modifier because if I use the script on one object it works, almost but it works.
Depending on the style you're after, you could probably use Extended Duplicate along a few curves. I've seen array duplicators, but I'm not sure if any accept surfaces as their base.
Thanks Di$array, i'll definitely put more wear and tear on the piece, but hopefully it doesn't take away from the aesthetics of it all. Definitely a good suggestions.
Sounds like win to me "It will be a tournament that begins with public voting." I'm guessing vote on the broad array of styles etc? I like where its going.
select all 4 faces and press alt + e but you can setup a mirror modifier to do that in combination with an empty & array modifier you can also make radial geometry
From the top of my head, I would look into simple deform modifier to twist the cables or model a tiling twisted segment, followed by an array and curve deform modifier. Checking "Stretch" and "Bounds clamp" for the curve can be useful. Good luck 👍
yeah, I know about static batching but I want to use array and scatter tools to save time and Unity doesn't have them afaik. And this scene will have real-time lighting.
So I cannot get the normal array of options to appear in the menu, its just the height map to normal conversion button. This is after converting a selection to normal. you can see here this group is not zipped either.
