Is it required to move the shells back to overlap when exporting to marmoset? Try without it perhaps. Theoretically it will either repeat (so it's overlapping anyway) or ignore it.. Perhaps take a look at the marmoset thread here or the pdf documentation for it.
I think this is nice. his fingers look really strange to me though also, I kinda like him bald.. (idk just a thought) maybe take some shots with and without his hair
idk, man i know you should def stay away from copy written material for sure. As far as using peers or colleagues stuff, totally fine as long as u give them credit.
