I would rather see the back of the helm flow down his back like the scales of a fish. That way it would better go with the design on the top of it. It would be very cool to see his full body armor create the look of a fish as he swam under water. it would give him a nice backstory and reason to be wearing that.
We don't cache on the disk, this would be too slow. Instead if we run out of memory, we rely on memory swap handled by the OS. The main bottleneck in the cas of Substance Painter is the GPU and the bandwidth to transfer textures. Take a look here if you want to optimize performances…
Toolbag 2 is no longer tied to your hardware ID (Toolbag 1 was). We have a new licencing system, and you can easily swap between two computers, say your workstation and your laptop, or your home and your work computer, you just have to click a link in email that is sent whenever you switch.
You give them your time and talent, they give you money. It's a equal partnership, there should be no entitlement by either party. yes the influence can sway back and forth from the company to the employee depending on the economy. Sometimes the artist has many opportunities, sometimes not many. that sentence should never…
Nice mooodlin :) Im not really feeling on the keychain on the laser pointer. I feel if someone was going to geri-rig something like that, they would pull that part off because it would get caught in all the mechanisms and whatnot. It does add visual interest though- maybe swap it out for some sort of functional looking…
Chances are, they skipped over your application pretty damn quickly when they saw that. If you wish to resubmit, make sure it's an entirely new cover letter, completely re-written, focuses on that particular studio. Don't just swap out the wrong name. Make it look like it's their studio you want to be at. not some shotgun…
So I got my 2 younger bothers to watch the trailer, they're both just ordinary teens, to see what their reaction would be. Both of them agreed the game looks dumb and boring. Well reading this thread was entertaining for the day, but it looks like nobody is swaying so... P.S.: just trying to lighten the mood with a gif.
I agree with Alberto Rdrgz. If your game supports speculars I'd definately throw in a bunch. As for the animation, try and get some more momentum in the upperbody, maybe a little more sway in the right arm that's holding the weapon and kick that left arm a little farther from the body and curl it at the end. Maybe a little…

Here is some progress on my design. Still rough and flushing it out. I wanted to get more "bones" in the design and I went in to get more stag muscle anatomy in the legs. More bend in the legs too to accommodate the anatomy and balance. Still a fair amount of work to go before I go pose him out.
