Thanks!) Not a very high polycount, although the object is quite large. The plane was made for foreshortenings in 15-20 meters from it. lod0 = 44416 triangles Yes, planes, like cars, usually have a high polycount, due to the bends of the surfaces)
That's a good way to handle the situation for real, communication always helps solve the problem. couldn't say it better. Definitely gonna try to do 15 - 30 mins quick improvement no matter how bad of a day I have. :)

just picked up this wip again..had dropped a while ago to work on more environment based pieces but decided it be a waste not to finish..this is with no lighting, no spec, unfinished normal map and 15 min texture pass with AO map.

I did a quickie. Made two matcap bakes based on Darksiders color scheme- one blue, one yellow. Used one for the skull and the other for the teeth + eyes, then spent 15 min loosely painting over the results.
Small update. Concepting out sil B here. I'm kinda digging where this character is going. I don't want it to be too far into the future or anything... just like, 10, 15 years? *edit* -removed image
Just for the case, that anybody cares: Here are the final results after texturing in Substance Painter. Rendered in Marmoset Toolbag2 He got 15 000 Quads. It took me about 3 I still hope for some feedback.
