I've also used r7_vertCurvature successfully a few times before. I'm not sure how you guys are getting the vertexColors -> texture, but this is how I've done it before. You can use the xNormal SMB exporter to export your model with the vertexColors, then use xNormal which has a "Bake highpoly's vertex colors". A heads up.… -
