Interesting proportion , hip area is real nice , she could lose her head with such thin neck also breast are definitely wrong, tight form fitting clothing wont allow her breast to melt like you have them , maybe check some latex clothing for reference
I think you should take some time and do some cloth sculpt studies. Right now it's looking very lumpy and the way it's draping/pulling over him doesn't feel believable. I kinda get where this is going and I was digging it until the cloth started coming into it.
This is looking great! My only comment that hasn't already been voiced above is: "Are you going to keep his Gerudian cloth?" the cloth he has on him in the OoT version, and wrapped around his sword in the Twilight Princess version has always been a subtle indicator of Ganondorf's presence.
chaosquack: thanks for the reply and tips. I'll work on it soon enough. For the cloth, it hasn't been tweaked yet since it's a super-simple geometry with cloth modifier. For the tires I had another reference but I think you got a nice point of view and I'll try to apply it to my model. :)
What do you mean both your projects have been for students? You're not completing class assignments for them, are you? With regards to what you've posted here, I think you could really work on your cloth sculpting and how clothing/items interact with the character's body.
I feel that the clothes need more work, it seems like you haven't used ref-material much for those. The folds for instance are too wavy at places where it should just be hanging and in most parts they just look unnatural. I would recommend reworking the clothes if you can.
Looks really great. I'm trying to get results like this. I'm doing okay with the skin. I have no idea how to do the clothing fabrics and stuff though. How did you go about the clothing? Did you use any tutorials you might be able to recommend?
if polygon modelling is your strong point then I suggest that you block out all your clothing in maya and then refine in zbrush afterwards, the topology that you have on the cloth at the moment is awful compared to the evenly quadded well thought out female base that you are putting it on. Play to your strengths.
Update on Yoko. The hair and clothing is still WIP. Played about with the proportions more, i think a bigger bust balances out the lower half of the body. Starting to push the bulges where the skin meets the tight clothing. Some of this will also be done in the posing stage. Any feedback is most appreciated!
This is looking nice! I like the little rectangular details in the cloth for the center piece, but not so much with the larger piece that hangs down around his waist. I think it might look better if you just went with more basic cloth style for this area. Really cool update though!
