I like watching the progress on this project. Its coming along nicely. Warhammer is always rad. Im interested in seeing the altar/pulpit area a bit more cloesly. You may want to soften the octagon shadows outside edge a tad. agree w/ mr AK
Yep i've bought it. On its way!!!! So happy. What operating system? XP 64? Vista 64 ? which one ? ultimate? Windows 7 beta build 7068 ? I want max render speeds really when using max/vray/maya/MR
Books to make you think a bit? Edited from my Facebook list: To Kill a Mockingbird Starship Troopers < never judge a book by it's film. Mr Pip The Cone Gatherers Heart of Darkness The Great Gatsy Maus Stranger in a Strange Land Fahrenheit 451 Sirens Of Titan
It's shocking to see people age, especially when you haven't seen them for a while. He's wearing it well though. Good to see Mr Gibbons too. That last shot is textbook 'Moore sinister' lol Wish I'd kept me Dr Who comics... *sigh*
I have to echo mr. panda here, using a properly taken reference photo is extremely important, even more so that you're just starting out. preferably something taken with a low FOV to minimize perspective distortion errors on your part. Search the free samples on 3d.sk perhaps.
I would recommend what one of Blizzard's concept artist uses. Its a brush set that after some use is quite perfect for that hand painted texture look. You can get it at his deviant art page here: http://mr--jack.deviantart.com/gallery/?q=brushes#/d1yc98d
I probably cannot describe how I love designs from Cape Chronicles, there is something very pure in them. I have a feeling you are a right man to do them justice Mr. Gir. Looks really solid, so I'll just shut up and wait for more.
Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance is one of the most intense movies I've ever seen as far as things getting progressively worse and worse for everybody involved goes. I watched Raging Phoenix today...that's kind of a revenge flick. Well, for everybody but the main character it is. For her it's more about drunken capoeira.
holy crap, thats godly mr adamator sir : ), thanks for sharing! here's a sketch, I force myself into doing a lineart...I don't know how you guys do it, it takes me for ever! gotta practice more I guess, from my personal project thing:
@Ged: Hey man! i really only use 3ds Max for the high-poly models. but if i ever get the time i would love to learn modo, especially after seeing how crazy some of the modeling tools are. @Mr Smo & eyo: thanks guys! @JasonLavoie: <3
