What could possibly be wrong with a mash-up computer language written by 100 different programming interns? MAXScript (btw that is proper spelling/caps) is so awesome I cannot stop cursing at it sometimes.
it looks to me as if you could make a poly object the has the silhouette of the mass of vegetation and have alpha planes coming out of it to break up that silhouette. did that make any sense? edited for spelling
I think so, i'm aiming at heading there as well. http://u3d.as/publisher/manufactura-k4-michael-o-/1YC Michael O seems to be doing alright. http://juhakiili.com/blog/my-first-five-days-in-the-asset-store/ http://www.reddit.com/r/gamedev/comments/1z2o7n/how_i_made_1000000_under_a_month_selling_assets/…
It does because that ruling basically says that gamers (first-sale users) don't have the *right* to sell what is now quite clearly "licensed" material. That means GameStop and other secondary outlets are selling 'used' games illegally. And not only that, but they could in theory be prosecuted for purchasing and selling…
Day 8, Rig is complete, need to polish the skin and texture a bit, then onto the ground and the spell... (this is a quick render in max just to see if the pose work, don't mind the camera angle and the culling problem)
PS I just realized I miss spelled the title of this thread I R GOOD SPELLERZ! Also WTF...anyone else catch that match today with riot vs the new AI bots?
What about a gradiated mask. Excuse the spelling. But it would be black at the top and bottom, and grey to white in the middle. Basically the mask would allow it to 'fade' in and 'fade' out at top and bottom while its panning.
I didn't even see the missing e :) Some fixes + did the small details, putting it out there in case I missed something or made spelling errors before I call this ready for texturing.
Your 'wizardy' ones (the 2nd and 4th ones) are my favs. Beautiful and imaginative sculpts. The VFX for the 4th one's spell could match the rest better, so maybe we'll see that in the textured version?
