Regarding faces, I'd just focus on recreating the Asaro planar head (google it), and understand which bony landmarks and muscle forms "create" the planes of the face. I foud this to be helpful in naming and place bony landmarks: https://www.artistsnetwork.com/art-subjects/portrait-figure/how-to-draw-bodies-lea-colie-wight/
Not these days, not going to happen. Unless there's another major world conflict, like WWII or Cold War. Right now space industry is all about cost and efficiency. Get more shit into space, spend less money. Polishing old reliable tech is way more efficient than developing new one.
Thanks a ton for the crits. You make a good point about the edging (esp on glock) and oily part. I'll see what changes I can make and update it when I can. For the presentation, I wanted to keep some kind of consistency. Not so sure what you mean by cold though.
hey guys just a quick/smaller update. just throwing together my high poly displays. hopefully i can model the low polys and texture them still tonight. unfortunately i just caught a cold and am not feeling up to working as quickly as normal :( but ill give it my best.
thanx for the feedback, did stick with the 1st Version! - added some detail and cleaned up the drawing. - played around with a little bit of a cold/warm gradient for the background - added some patterns and halftone print effect next I think I'll project the design onto the 3D-Model to check if it works on the mesh.
Is it cold in here or is i-you know what, nevermind. The left (his right) kneepad should be more closed up to match the concept. Also, that scarf still needs to be a bit looser around the neck. It seems the concept uses it to imply trapezius muscles of steroidal proportions. Other than that this is coming along nicely.
hehe ... poop just radiates Friendly and Keen. Anyone read Terry Pratchett? I have to admit, my internal Carrot is starting to look a leeetle like a redheaded poopinmymouth. Or maybe it's just the cold medicine. *cough* Looks like a great time! I like that picture presentation, SimpleViewer, too. Hmm!
BOO NARUTO hoorah...this...guy.... the model looks great. im a little confused about whats going on with the arms. theyre very skinny, and his forearms are bulky. i think a texture could make this dude just blow our minds. and how do you like this awesome cold front in orlando?
i've never had the flu, and i stopped getting vaccinations for it about 8 years ago i think. Its really strange because i have a lowsy immune system, i get strep throat 4-6 times a year easily and a few colds thrown in every once in a while
Looking great! For more visibility , giving the player a torch or something like that could give you a really cool feeling; a lill orange point light would do a really interesting contrast with the cold scary world
