The bat wings just don't work. Aside from the fact that it's changed from a 4-limbed creature to a 6-limbed one, you need to remember that a bat's wings are (essentially) modified arms & hands. While bat eyes can be small, they are there; no bats are really blind. The legs seem to have an extra joint. -

Also, thought I'd add after looking at it again; it's very symetrical? Try to add a vary of colours, scratches, scars or something to ease the eye and make it more interesting? Why not add arrowheads stuck in it's wing? Or holes/chunks of tissue removed from fierce fights in the wings? Make the image tell a story... -

Here I am having the same issue I am not getting why! Low poly High poly The model is divided into 4 pieces, larger ring, smaller ring, the glass interior and the surrounding screws, all share the same material apart the glass in center, I have used those settings for baking ... -

Speed-sculpt for the evening. Done so much work on the griffon as of lately but he's still not done yet. Still will have to adjust his wings and detail them. Other than that the low poly is sitting at 23k + wings maybe... or hopefully 30k but I'll have to see. -

Now what's creepier, killingpeople's harpy sparrow, or Twilight Princess' Oocoos? Haha. I'd say it's a neat concept. As said above, I'd work on the feathers-to-skin transitions a bit. Also underneath the wings, I would blend the textures from the feather tips to the wing.
