Last year someone made some photo real CG render of a "new graphics card" and it spread through tech sights sooo fast. http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread.php?f=132&t=748659&highlight=video+card
I am just getting started on modo, so far just loving how clean the UI is, I haven't seen a more perfect GUI in a cg app max and even maya seem cluttered and antiquated by comparison.
It seemed as though the noise was a result of turning on something call "chromatic arbitration"; for some reason it made the images really grainy. Someone once said, that I should have a display like the cg sammu fellow, how is this one?
haha i pasted the names on there afterwards since they kind of reminded me of some of their trademarks. I`m thinking of doing a full 3d illustration from this and using them as reference as if it would be a real cg movie with them as voiceactors in it
i think it's important to note, those are limitations within Unity, not within Ace's shader tool here. even if you were to write out a shader in CG, you would still have to follow those same rules.
i wonder if it is now a better idea to go with those templated community hosting websites(like now defunct cg hub and sort, of course that comes with a risk but everything does) instead of going the traditional way(like hostgator)?
I believe there is a lot of fire hydrant piece floating around because... THERE IS A TUTORIAL ABOUT IT ON CG TUTS! as for the piece you just need to put more love on the diffuse and spec good luck its going in the right way.
I went to see it cause all my buddies went and I was bored... About on par with fantastic 4, except with crappier CG and a less cool hero. Dialouge made me want to kill myself at some points.
Odium is right, drop the fur. It just makes it look like bad cg, and completely detracts from the stylization. If you want to add fur to the dog, then forget the simulated stuff and create some stylized fur that fits the idea.
