In the system tray login to the Autodesk Desktop App, it'll show program updates. Or you can download the latest update here: https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/3ds-max/downloads/caas/downloads/content/3ds-max-201701-security-fix.html?v=2017
From here right? http://cg.tutsplus.com/tutorials/autodesk-3ds-max/how-to-create-a-video-game-dumpster-the-complete-current-gen-workflow/ Looks awesome, better than the original in my opinion, especially your texture work. It looks more real.
Don't get me wrong, physique stills works, and in some ways is better than skin, but it's not being actively developed by Autodesk and most newer game engines don't support it. So it's in your own best interest to at least know how to use skin.
and so did I using blenders AO baking abilities, the nice thing for me was that I could just copy the application folder to another computer and have that one bake the 8k texture while continue working with the others. Can't do that with Autodesk software :)
No, It's a problem with Windows XP SP2, they changed something with activeX security. There was a fix for it from Discreet (we had this problem at my last employer, Max5 FFS!), you can probably find it somewhere on the Discreet/Autodesk site; he'll have to do some searching.
https://create3dcharacters.com/zoo2/ are high on my list. And USD to explore the new pipelines. https://github.com/Autodesk/maya-usd/releases/tag/v0.6.0 Also the BonusTools. https://apps.autodesk.com/en/Detail/Index?id=8115150172702393827 PolyRaven for UVS. https://www.polyraven.com/uv/
You know your right the first 2 times i tried that it only showed the UV of one object even if i select others. And yeah everyone has GOZ type features like most autodesk products and allgoeithmic products, even Vue.
Ok that got me excited! Cheers SuperFranky the Graphite Tools are decent but I don't have access to Max these days, and Autodesk seem opposed to making an LT version like Maya, so it's Maya's toolset for now (which btw is beginning to surpass Max)
Yeah, Python isn't supported in Maya LT. Unless there is a MEL script that can be used instead, it won't work unfortunately. I've been using Maya LT for a while now and Python support is the top most wanted feature. Hopefully Autodesk will add it in soon.
In Maya 2017 work perfect. In Maya 2016 error: # Error: TypeError: file C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Maya2016\Python\lib\site-packages\pymel\internal\pmcmds.py line 133: Invalid flag 'oo' # Thx for the script. Im use 2016.
