nice....a couple of things bother me though theground- kerbs/gutter need spec work, they look bland and blobby, maybe a couple of varieties and then dislodge the odd stone so theyre not perfectly straight. variation across the road surface deeper cracks towards the edge more smooth shine at the centre, pot holes missing…
@heyeye Thanks, yeah I totally see what you mean! I've never really realized how many different colors there are in their albedos that you don't really notice. I tweaked the stone texture a bit, and made a few others now as well. @RustySpannerz Thanks! Yeah I love Uncharted myself, so making this environment is pretty fun…
Hi Jordz, nice GoIem. I think that since he is made of stones he should articulate some how so he can move around. For that is not enough to shape the stone as if they had muscles. You need to separate the geometry in the articulations so they are individual pieces. And sorry but i have to agree with a previous comment…
Looks good so far, but as above, make it a little lighter whilst you're working on it. The thing that stood out for me was the grass. It all looks too much the same. Try mixing up the shades of green slightly, make some areas longer than others. You could add some shrubs and small weeds as well. I'm not sure if this is…
It's definitely moving in the right direction now! The stone roadway still needs some work and the shape of it doesn't sit well with me. Is there a reason why it's raised in the middle? You could add in some stone meshes to help make it uneven. As it's a cloudy day you could have some of the environment under the shadow of…
Hey Adam, just wanted to swing by and say it's looking good! Your stone floor/walkway looks too clean, unless if the monks living here are like super cleaning machines. Decals like PixelMasher said, that will help break it up nicely and add some dirt to it. A nice detail you could possibly add is some blossoms on the…
Look at the top ten grossing (not paid) in each section and copy those. Look at how many assets, what formats, etc. Current #1 has: - 9 types of stones - 1 tilable stone texture - 8 fully editable trees and bushes - 12 textures of grass - 11 ground textures - 2 particle presets (falling leaves and ember) - 2 2D mountains…
The sword looks a lot better after the updates, but I don't think the form of the handle works very well with a leather material to be honest. To me that kind of handle would make a lot more sense for a metal handle. I'd wrap some leather strips around the handle instead of what you have now as that would probably provide…
if you realy want to save it i think it'd require a lot of work - maybe more than it's worth. namely - i would get rid of the terrain and just put it on some sort of pedestal. probably get rid of the sky as it is as well...unless you want to model more of a scene around it. less tiling textures, or at least a greater…
I've recently started a short project in UE5 using already made assets to focus mainly on composition and lighting without much modeling. The idea was to make a Shaman Cabin using mainly the free Quixel Medieval environment package and a few megascan props. The cabin is owned by a shaman living retired in the forest,…
