that sounds like a cool idea funky bunnies for alpha integration into different textures! For RGB masks, i use the layer group channel masking to make a channel packed mask texture. Is a little different workflow - but maybe something to think about instead of having 3-4 textures with alphas, could have +1 texture that…
That guilt is outside of you. From the single minded people who always say "stfu and make art". While they themselves are no shining example. Just have balance. Do what makes you happy. You spend your day at work creating art. Still you feel you must PROVE yourself to be better at home? Prove to whom? No man, from my POV…
Everything is a little too straight, parallel lines everywhere. Break out of that - knock edges off the parallel, taper some of the posts, make stuff just that little bit crooked. Push your bricks and cobbles so they aren't all pure straight lines of identical silhouetted shapes. I see you've got a little bit going on on…
Holy crap dude, I lurked the whole thread, And this last render looks absolutely stunning! (Im jelly I want to be able to do this, (Im trying hah)). Im not sure what crit I can give you, but on the latest render Im wondering if the shadow of the eyeballs is to intense, and they feel a bit like they are too glassy. It is a…
@amirabd2130 For some reason when I blur the foreground elements in Photoshop it works, but when I upload it on the net, I get this weird graininess on some areas of the foreground elements, so I did not push the blur to avoid this problem. I went a little wild with the saturation since I felt the previous version was a…
Oh Man! I remember that game. I remember he had a sweet leather jacket. And a little bit of Kid Chameleon Trivia, the kid on the box art was drawn after the Artist's son. Anyways, I know you are trying to update the design a little bit, but I feel like you can still push the proportions. He seems kind of like a little…
Looking at your props you seem to be using your diffuse texture to derive a normal map. Diffuse gets turned into a height map using its luminance so dark areas get pushed in light areas get pushed out. Diffuse colour rarely has anything to do with the elevation of the details on a map. Your better off doing a greyscale map…
So I finally wraped up the bird man! I would have loved to push the textures a bit more, but i had to close my two entries at some point. Here are my final images for Swain! Thanks for the feeback Guys! @Slosh: Your are 100% right for the color variation, got the same feedback from my colleagues at work and once i saw it…
Hey all, This time I've done the walls and crematorium at the same time - the walls will need another set of variants as the read is a bit noisy now, but there's something there, nontheless. The crematoriums I took two attempts to do, as the first one I designed looked compositionally boring. Here is the first design: The…
