Well I just whistled out loud instinctively. Hot giggedy damn. And don't worry about the shield contest, it's been proven now that many leading submissions are using bots. A new shield uploaded today got 300 votes almost instantly.
i managed to get some good deals as well. Assassins Creed Revelations $35 Metal Gear Solid HD Collection $35 New chair from staples (originally $170) payed $50. 27" HP Monitor (originally $400) payed $300
SF doesn't expose precision options for all of it's nodes, so I always go back in and drop them down unless it causes visual anomalies. Haven't run into any problems with it on OpenGLES 3.0+, but got some interesting bugs on some 2.0 devices.
I'm not so sure the Wii has the staying power, in the end I think it will have distracted people long enough to hurt Sony while Microsoft slowly keeps climbing. Think of the Wii like The 300 heh, only closer to the real historical battle.
you General looks really cool. for the Dictator i think you should use as many polies as you did in the General to make them consistant. i'd go ahead and bump both their counts to 300 even and add a couple more polies for deformation
well, his only description was "character modeling." Maybe he's doing a 300 poly char, no textures. Maybe he's doing a full sculpt. I dunno... [take what you want to make per year, divide by 1000, and there's your hourly wage]
Cathedrals have the most cookie-cutter layout possible, If they didnt call it Manchester catheral you probably wouldnt even notice. All this fuss has made me want to play it about 300% more than I did a week ago lol.
wow.. sorry for being excited. i was thinking about a Sigma 24mm F 1.8 or something alike, and maybe in a little while that i get a telezoom, a 70-300 maybe, i dont know if any of you has a lens that you think is recommendable?
Just multiply the size you want the render to be (in inches) by 300, and set the resolution to that number. So, for example, if you wanted to make a 6" x 6" render at 300dpi, you would set the resolution to 1800 x 1800 pixels. That should work, right?
A lot of your round shapes are quite lowpoly and I think you should make the silhouette more round in my opinion. Adding 100 to 300 more triangles for the round shapes of your props is not wasted if it removes the blocky feeling some of your props have right now.
