shotty looks better this size :) before it could of been mistaken for a pistol of some kind. Its look really awesome! maybe add some bolt/nuts to hold the trucks to the skateboard deck?
Awesome! Really close to the reference and such an interesting tank, this will make a great model! If I was forced to nit-pick; the armour above the lower main turret is slightly thicker on yours, but yea very minor.
Whatever is quicker is normally the best solution for production work, but it doesn't take much work to copy and paste 100 nuts and bolts in a 3d application, and typically that gives you better control and bakes.
Prozac. Every Final Fantasy game has at least one character who seems to be taking this shit. Still, I honestly doubt she's worse than Selphie - she was fucking NUTS.
Who is this "everyone" and why did he mention the game engine he uses while you were posting this thread? (Just so I don't get slapped in the nuts, Source and UDK)
Sure! This is all I have at the moment, it may be me nit picking, but it feels like some parts of this render are toy models. It's supposed to be a building with a landing pad and other various shapes for reference.
Wow, nuts. $40k could pay off all my debt! bwahaah. So is Valve going to putting all "accepted" add ons up as micro-transactions? That's pretty slick if so.
What sort of research have you done for this idea? If you haven't yet, I would scour the net for concepts of futuristic cyberpunk bars and try to get some inspiration from them.
Holy fucking shit. $14k for a computer is nuts. You could build a perfectly serviceable machine for a grand and then spend the rest of that money on a car or a trip to some awesome part of the planet for a few weeks.
I was surfing the net for this and found a good article, it's about the water drops, they used objects there. (Just sharing this.) http://www.indiedb.com/games/autumn-game/news/simulating-dynamic-weather-effects-rain
