SHEPEIRO what emulator are you using? I have a very good Japanese one that I got off the cover of an emulation magazine. You need to enable Japanese support in Windows to get it running though.
couple of questions, i did the tutorial. got nice results. but do we render with scanline or with mentaray render? i tried both, scanline looked better. also, we have to enable light tracer, no?
If you have an Editable Poly Object you can enable Nurm Subdivision in the Subdivision Surface rollout. One of my scripts cycles the nurms level between off, 1, and 2 subdivisions. Script Here
yeah i heard that , but i also read somewhere ( god i should remember where ) that there are tweaks to enable them :S dunno i might be out of my mind....i dont want vista
Where it says "Enable Plugin Material: None" you need to change that to Metal Bump 9. But that's a pretty crappy shader, the better way of doing this is to use a 3rd-party shader. http://wiki.polycount.net/Normal_Map#ShadersAndSeams
EDIT: In ZBrush a subtool had streaks in its color almost as if a portion of it was masked which it wasn't. It turns out that Surface --> Noise was enabled which caused the discoloration. The issue went away after Noise was disabled.
Now that we have multiple viewports, wireframe can be enabled per viewport. If you click the gear icon in the viewport you'll find an option to turn it on. To render the wireframe, hit the gear button next to the Final Composite render pass.
Yes, alessiogarcai was right. You must install pugin in your engine version folder (\Engine\Plugins), and then you should open plugins list in Unreal (Edit->Plugins), select Buld-In category and then search "UnrealEnginePython" and enable it. Should work.
@RN That's is very cool! Iam trying to figure it out how to render frames of a dynamic fluid with alpha channel enabled. but I don't even know how to light the fluid. would depend on the scene I'll use ? damn this is complicated.
CreativeSheep did you setup the ps remote server? "EDIT: I forgot to mention that for the plugin to work correctly, you'll need to enable Remote Connections in Photoshop preferences (with a password set to "password") or you will see an empty panel for the moment"
