HDD failure is a fact of life even with SSD. What you do to prepare for it is the thing that matters most. Picking up a SSD big enough to hold an OS is at least $70 (16GB). -

I'm hoping for a hybrid ssd hdd system to speed up streaming, games are getting bigger and I don't see ssd being cheap enough by it self to allow be to install a bunch of games. -

So, just for giggles I looked at re-doing the CSS from scratch. Here's what the forum looks like with zero CSS overrides. Ewww. Not sure if I want to go down this rabbit hole. -

You're not alone friend. SS2>BS forever. Ive played SS2 4 or 5 times over the years. I just LOVE the atmosphere and the constant feeling of overwhelming dread and horror.
