alright using my extremely limited scripting knowledge (copy and pasting stuff from existing scripts and using the listener) I've created this; macroscript GlobalDelete category:"Yozora" buttonText:"Global Delete" toolTip:"Global Delete" ( On Execute Do ( if (classof($.baseobject) == editable_poly) then ( if…
so yeah it did work ok, the one subd level gives slightly less chunky effect. using weighted average for the edges did nt work too well as each edge has a slightly different weight ie averaged out - have to do it by angle+ making the required lines as hard edged - you get a nice clean panel line that way Also I make a…
i would add some AO behind the teeth. They are looking like not conneceted to the rest. I guess you tried, but maybe it looks better when the pupil´s are not stretched and a thin dark line around the eyeball would hide the edgy form from the polygons.
I would agree if the environment wasn't a little girl room. I don't think he's a pedo anyway, it's just it's really edgy material, and that sends the wrong signal, again I was trying to help him in the beginning (before his despise phase), he took it to the next level.
Thanks for the comments again! I don't think i was deliberately going for the softer look of the metals haha. I sorta have been doing this for most metal sculpts ever since I read somewhere that doing so makes it read better by exaggerating the bevels/edges; mainly for game assets. I probably would keep it this way, at…
Eddie Brock Jr. was Peter Parker's closest childhood friend. However, the genesis of Venom began years earlier. Instead of a sentient alien, a genetically engineered protoplasmic "Venom Suit" was designed by Richard Parker and Edward Brock, Senior. Parker intended it to be used for medical purposes in his quest to cure…
looks like transformers to me from a design perspective: flashy and edgy. Reminds me also alot of the japanese 'Decotora' pimped trucks in somewhat flashy style: you can find more of it here: http://www.darkroastedblend.com/2006/11/electric-light-truck-decoration-in.html
Thanks again Eric. You're probably right that the back of the headstock is too clean for the rest of it. I think I didn't prioritize it since it's the back. Consistency can be the sort of thing to need pointed out. I imagined this as being cleaned off regularly and still in use. The paint chips and the oxidation on the…
Hello ! The example with the hands is really as straightforward and self-evident as it can be. If a modeler on a team made the model the way shown on the right, for a bake supposed to capture smooth skin/organics, it simply would have to be redone after removing these hard edges because they are not only unnessary, but…
@pior is correct in that it is a common misconception that you need hard edges for uv borders. The rule is you need to split your uvs for hard edges, but the opposite is not true. Thinking about how you plan to use hard edges, and how that will influence your uv layout while creating the model is great advice as well.…
