somehow i think that what will save the industry will be those "quick" games , flash ones etc, like motherload, etc, they load pretty quick dont require instalation, etc...
in my experience, the main three are: placing objects placing object generators (spawn points, sfx etc) drawing splines for AI (enemy paths, racing lines etc etc)
It's like asking why there's no good road PBR textures, water shaders have so many different requirements and needs and layers that no one size fits all solution is going to exist. Same with roads, terrain, grass, etc.
Needs horns, eyes, eyebrows, etc - pretty happy to have the basemesh in UE5 though. Face is 1k, body 2k, wings + tail 2k. The months of sculpting paid off I think. 2 down, 2 more races to go. https://youtu.be/S7BFdypG2YE Have a great week!
