i remember in Maya you could select a vertex and pressing the arrow key, the selection moves to the next vertex either by pressing up, left, right, or down. Is there a way you can cycle through selecting vertices like this in Blender?
Frank As I am getting more custom to Blender, would you mind if you have the time, to show the second process with a video. One of the thing I found i have a hard time with blender, is trying to match segments. This due to Blender breaking the ability to adjust segments when an item have been moved.

Gumbata: Sorry I cant help you because I use blender. But I realised something that it is very hard to rig and export in 3ds max but I never heard of a blender rig problem (maybe just me) I might thinking simple minded but why not download and use blender only for rigging and exporting?
