I was sculpting away at this, just to relax and practice a bit, until Zbrush decided to crash on me. Started from a box, turned into a sphere. About an hour of work. Did manage to take a shot before it crashed though.
Well from all this awesome art I decided to try zbrush and it really is amazing, but I think I may have went a little over board and made it look worse than I intended. xD
am new to zbrush (bout 2 weeks on and off i think) but seem to be enjoying it more than normal modeling :) but here are some quick sculpts. and a quick one i did just now before bed
haha now i have to give her curly hair and a hat! damn sculpting curly hair.... hmmmmm lets see @felipe: yes zbrush with a tweaked matcap, nothing special, just the MatCap Gray Material with a bit of rimlight painted in, was rather surprised myself, last time i used the best button in zbrush was version 2.5 and the result…
This is the first time I post on polycount. Just started with zbrush and started doing some speed sculpts and got refered here from friends and figured I would post :) This one took me around one hour to do.
Working on this stone, base mesh made in 3dsmax highpoly in zbrush and baking made with xnormals, but i get this werry visible seames on the normal maps is it becours i have seames there on the unwrap or is it some option/setup that is wrong plz help! :)
Ferg: big props to you dude! Some anatomy facial feature study. Went a bit mad with the details I guess. :) About 2h in total I think, maybe a bit less, sculpted from a zbrush plane primitive.
Been an age since I have even touched a 3d app, so decided to start with some sculping practice seeing as its always been a weak area for me. About 2 hours tinkering with the Zbrush default male head.
Not my best work :-\ but I figured Id post it anyways. This is a 1-hour sculpt done from scratch in Zbrush. Hes supposed to be some humble looking alien guy, with inspiration from the koopas in Mario and a few other dinosaur creatures.
cool Muzz , i think her ribcage could use some volume and het knees are way too flat tried zbrush 4 with the move topo elastic tool and decided to start a female torso study out of a sphere :D
