Daven! Fantastic concept! I love everything about it, the colors and lighting work so well with the shapes you've got. Love the head, and those are some wicked swords! This is very first honest attempt at zbrush. I've tried before, but I'm trying REALLY HARD this time, and I'm not going to stop.

Looking good darkknight, I think he could probably go heavier up top, if you check the topless shots of him you can see how massive he got for it. I'm doing a cavill likeness piece at the moment and its so hard haha, he's got such a weird face!!!!
@ Haikai : Stunning work as always! @ Guedin : Absolutely love how clean your hard surface stuff is! Have you ever recorded yourself while working? I'd love to see your workflow! I just began a new character, I'll start a new thread as soon as I have more to show =)
@ Dave Jr - I made a quick paintover since pictures are better than words in my opinion. I hope this helps. I'd also recommend maybe starting a thread or posting more images if you want better feedback. It's a bit hard to get feedback on this big thread. Here is something I'm working on:

going a little low tech Palette construction is hard. Deciding which ramp to be what color and what shades to have. The last row of 32 colors are fullbrights (engine hint there) Plus the palette's designed for colored lighting (via lookup table abuse), which blends ok except for the transition from red to blue.
this is my first attempt at hardsurface/weapons. for working only 3 days on it Im pretty happy with the outcome! got some too hard edgeres here and there but its easy fixed. its not done yet, ive got some minor things left on it, then on to the lowpoly:) crits are very welcome! And aaawesome work here lately.. daaaang!! :)
Nothing fancy here but I decided to dig into recoil in Modo to see how hard it would be to work with it. I figure it might be useful for modeling certain things .. turns out, it's ridiculously simple. This took 2 minutes to set up (including primitive creation, swearing and option clicking) and 1.5 seconds to simulate.…
Thanks you for the comment! i am making it up as i go trying to do a mix of soft and hard surface for this character. Its still a wip so there is much i still want to do to the backpack and i do see what you mean i will try to work around it and if i cant i will simply remove it. Thanks for the advise.
