Okay, thanks. Removed the logo. And btw - all 3 pictures come from workshop with no single filter on. Only having black outline because there were some small pixels of green from green screen removal. I believe and hope this shouldnt be a problem, it doesnt change the way skin looks ingame
It´s nice looking and really interesting. I like the first one, I guess it´s good readable as something which is supposed to be something spiritual looking like a temple. Looks like a kind of temple of a sci-fi sect, especially with this logo and this white mood. Could be the door to heaven:) Good Luck!
I personally could do without a logo either in my face or up my ass less clicks to get to the pictures the better in my book, I think the gallery link should take you straight to some thumbnails rather than personal info. I like your drawings though
The only thing that I picked up that hasn't been covered yet is that your car has some pinching and odd shading in areas. The rear area and the circular logo on the side are the prime examples. It looks as if you modeled it in a bit of a rush. Still, very nice portfolio. I love the man in a jar piece :)
May as well use this for the main project thread. I forget if I posted the logo anywhere: My musician finished the main theme: [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zo_6Uecxa60[/ame] And the current state of the game. Haven't worked on it for a while, though. [ame] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aRm7Gi8AB0o[/ame]
Very nice, but no video ? I throught its moving ? Not sure if I like the strong black influence of the render in reflections, and the gold tone feels very cold, maybe a fill light would do well. Also id change the rolex logo to red from green, that would look more harmonic
Could you show us some of your refs? Looks more like an ice cream logo than dog poop. People here have already provided some pretty solid refs. Also your textures still have a ways to go. Keep it up! Love seeing progress shots.
@battlecow Thanks man :) Started on the textures today, did a few passes on the lower and got it looking close to how i want it in the final, now to do the slide, I left putting any trademarks on the highpoly as I'm still 1) Unsure what to call it and 2) Unsure what logos I want on it.
render, I hear you about IrfanView's interface. It is somewhat customizable, though. I spent a little time and made a custom Toolbar skin for it. I'd post it, but I don't have a way to host the link. Now if I could just change that 'cat-splat' logo beyond changing the icon file...
Yeah you're UVs need some work, half of you texture is black because of the occlusion. You should reconsider how you cut up your mesh, you can pretty much stick the UV shell with your logo on it right in the black area it's on, and gain so much texture space.
