Now I don't know this first hand but isn't that what Star Citizen and Alien: Isolation are using basically? I'm talking about "Face weighted normals". In order to get this to work you need to bevel all your hard edges, but it saves you the part of the baking process that's just for curvature and still gets you nice detail.… -

Technically I wouldn't enable render. But instead apply a sweep modifier. Sweep has a few interesting custom shapes that make for some interesting trim, as well as the ablity to define a custom shape. VERY handy. Good improvement. Besides texturing, I'd add some ground transition. As in, the front entrance and the side arched hall area appear to be floating. There is one darker brick that makes it pretty obvious it's a repeating texture. It's on the second line of bricks up from the concrete trim in the middle of the building. Does it have a bump or normal map on it? It doesn't really seem to show well if you do. The stains under the windows feel like they are all the same.…
