Hi quixel team, Im having problems with the exporter on 1.7. Simply doesnt work, is like the "export" button do anything. I can click export many times that the window dosent close, is like the export button dont have any code on it. Using photoshop CC 2014 and Unity 5 calibration. Textures are 8k res.
I believe that other than the textures, the whole model as accuracy issues. Infact does the model even have normal maps? In this shot, http://leonano.com/site/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/screenshot006.jpg the edges all look like they don't. I would sugest going back and work a bit more on its accuracy. Soz

What version of 3ds Max? What OS? There's a Nvidia driver crash I was getting that was locking my PC in Max 2017. It mostly happened if I was showing textures in the viewport or in High Quality mode. I had to go back to 2014. I got a new PC a few days ago, and the new PC doesn't have this issue.
My new favorite = RappaTools' (QuickTopo) + Graphite Modeling Tools in Max 2014. I have done a lot of retopo work in 3D Coat & really enjoyed using it. Found it to be a very stable & reliable option. Topogun is awesome but I found it to be unstable. It also doesn't have Applink which makes 3D Coat that much more attractive.

It is, but this has been the trend for most of 2014. There have been a few ticket bundle sets without loading screens, but the sets in chests are a different story. I am not the best artist, and my 3d is much better than my 2d, but I will still be doing my first solo loading screen for my new bloom set for these reasons.
answer here is still to wait for Quixel to sort out the service to be cabable of an open beta. Eric, are the materials that ship with ddo considered to be megascans? or are they considered beta materials? And if the latter, could Suite owners expect to see resolution upgrades/scan upgrades, which (forgive me if i'm wrong)…
Looks like Max your using. Keep in mind i think max will push the cage verts out differently after the first push, and not in their proper averaged normal directions like the first push. However that could have just been a bug i got while using Max 2014, no one ever confirmed it happening on their end.
