i miss the old polycount LOGO! I skimmed through a few old posts. Seems like so long ago. Amazing how well known this community is, considering how difficult the forum link was to find on the old front page. I remember the Q3 PPMs. Mods were fun.
i like GTA, i think i'll like this, i'm sure the characters will all look weird, but i don't think i'll care cuz it'll just be straight up gansta. i like how liberty city is now pretty much NYC with changed logos and misplaced letters.
ill get my real name up there but the Lonewolf gonna have to stay, for the last few years, for every studio and fellow artists im known as lonewolf, im gonna copyright it with that logo when ill finish the site too (i even have it as a tattoo, its a personal thingie too :) )
The graph/curve editor is your friend here. Make sure the keyframe of the impact on the ground is linear in the vertical motion(y in maya, z in 3ds max). The graph should have similar shapes as the mcdonald's logo. So linear(fast) when it's low, curvy(slow) when high. Hope that helps.
Hello! Are you still looking for a 2D artist? I am more focused on UI/UX Design so icons, logos etc. but I can also digitally paint. Here's my artstation: https://www.artstation.com/hollyh If your interested let me know! Many thanks, Holly H
Hi everyone. I'll be wearing a black t-shirt, grey pants, and red or black shoes. I'll try to introduce myself to everyone but if you see me say hi!! My business cards will also have my new logo on them. Trying out Jeff Parrotts branding tips.
I saw it, and thought "this would make a good friend for D0g". And then I saw the teensy Aperture logos. I feel you have some slight priority issues - very complex internals and details yet blocky bits in the silhouette such as the arm wires and shoulder pads - but overall the things looks good.
Well that's some crazy good work. I could only nitpick that the grenade stands out being so saturated green. Really nice shading to my eye. What is the final presented in here? Unity, Marmoset or UE? You have logos of each, what were the different software used for?
Reminds me of those "design a logo" contests that were so prevalent a few years back. It's sponsored content, where the sponsor is getting free concept art, followed by what looks like a pitch for free models later in the year. Doesn't sit quite right with me, but that may just be me.
^what he said also, maybe adding some large print graphics or logos would add a nice touch- TDR did some nice stuff for wipeout and maybe some sort of belt like form? I think some sort of creative buckle would go a looong way.
