You should check out the Chateau de Chenonceau, my favourite Loire Valley castle, it has these two bridge-galleries, with a similar lighting, might help you :)
They should also only use 30cm CRT screens on the bridge, right? Constraining the design because of a 30+ years old movie is what I'd personally call silly...
what process did you use to remove the geometry to create the four slanted ovals above the grips in the side of the gun. Booleans? Delete faces and bridge? just wondering.
The Fuji is a bridge camera not a DSLR, so you'd be stuck with that lens. Again you should post what you'll use the camera for and how much you wanna spend.
