Depends on the distance and required fidelity. If it's a mid to background prop I create one seam and relax (one island), if it's going to be seen up close I either map it like a cylinder (three islands) or like a tennis ball (two islands). You got the thickness better than mine! and you kept more true to the plastic material, My texture was rushed in about 15 min so I made some material mistakes hehe yeah Ive lerned tons! we are going to have another 2 hour session tonight at 5. looking forward to see what props we get this time :D -
