ah, is it possible to edit mobile materials in realtime using the material instance actor like with PC udk materials? or is it all pre-compiled and must be static.
Haven't posted an update here in a while, I've had some free time lately and I'm currently texturing the realtime model. http://i.imgur.com/BePteYi.jpg
I could be wrong, but I believe lighting for Unity is defaulted to dynamic, realtime lighting. I've been told there is a setting to change that allows light maps.
^Good advice. Actually if it's an asset for a game I'd forget rendering altogether and try to make it look good on the viewport, realtime, it looks much more authentic.
Crazy, I totally anticipated seeing a cube map in that material. It'd probably help your realtime appearence. A little fresnel wouldn't hurt either. :)
