Will a solid knowledge of the events of WWII make you wince at the contents of this game? Or is it comic-book-ish without trying to be real in any way. Oh, and is there any nazi-mecha-death-robot-doomday-suit-with-gatlinguns? Cause my PS3 needs goodies, and I just finished AC2..
Ha Awesome! I remember seeing parts of the comic in waywo. I Love when he falls off and gets dragged along ragdolling his face into everything :D The powerups look interesting and the First Person View looks intensely fun. :) Great job dude
excellent send-up of 70's and 80's fantasy tropes. Korgoth himself is pretty obviously in the Brock mold, but that's just fine with me. i really enjoyed the comic timing of the show, especially the intro bit with the henchmen. here's hoping the henchmen show up in future episodes
[ QUOTE ] The face reminds me a little of the Patron Saint of Killers in the Preacher series... which is a good thing r. [/ QUOTE ] frank quietly was my favorite comic book artist (before he found photoshop.) Truely great that series. Someone should model his awsome gun.
if you want to build a new set of storyboards for a portfolio, how do you pick out your subject matter, how do you decide what to board? do you look up a script on google? pick something out of a comic book? reboard something you saw on TV?
Oh well, I guess I'm doing Bullseye in a Hawkeye costume then, haha! I've never been reading the Hawkeye comics myself, I just really liked him when browsing through several superhero characters. Thanks for the input! Gave me a lot more references to work with now.
Hey Danny, how's things? This is awesome! Are you gonna make a hammer or anything to go with it? You should maybe try adding more definition to her legs, see how that looks? Although most comic superheroes skip leg day it seems. Just a thought. Looks really nice though.
My wife has been drawing a comic that takes place in the Tsukiji Fish market in tokyo for 6 years now. It's called Sakana! So I wanted to do something for her! I used some of the aspects of her work, and took a lot of texture inspiration from TF2 and combined the two.
That render is fantastically and comically gruesome. I really hope you spend the time making the rest of the model look as impressive as his belly does, and not get caught up in material and texture tests for just that one part. If the entire character comes out as well as it's going, I really think this will be great.
Mental? What...They are totally changing the whole idea behind GI Joe. GI Joe is the REAL AMERICAN HERO. It's not a multinational orgy of dick heads. Like my previous post I don't care about why they changed it. It was stupid. Hmmm lets take a look at some images from the comics.
