No no wait. That lid you would normally unwrap as one island.Dunno why you try like this .So that one island must get a smoothing group different from the rest of the islands.Just unwrap that in one island and hit relax and it will be fine.
I bet he'll be back in a year to a year and half with a 25% increase in salary. He just wants to spend some of his millions and relax. I don't blame the guy, I'd do the same if I were in his shoes.
Started out a new piece (still very far from finished, which is exactly why I put this here now) and did a mess with brushes just to relax. Probably going to use the mess for something, but donno for what yet.
Looks pretty good so far. Your edge loops could probably be more even. If you can relax her arms, it'll look nicer for sculpt Make sure to give her a belly button at some point. :)
Yeah I blockout a lot at work so for personal projects I prefer not to do it, just because it is irritating to me. But I understand what you mean its just for personal projects I like to be much more relaxed.
@Anomaly Looks awesome but it might be worth the scale the zipper down a bit. @Isunoj Sculpt is looking great! although I think you could relax the pants around the butt a bit more have some big hanging folds.
dustinbrown no, it doesn't preserve UVs Will try to make it semi realtime. Mark Dygert I don't understand what you mean by the relax thing, can you include some pictures? I see a lot of people use 2009.
Finished After some weeks of relaxation and some work fueled by newly awoken enthusiasm, I'm proud to present the final product. Make sure to head over to Artstation for the full project! Thanks to anyone who followed me. Cheers!
I'd pick the artist first, its hard to develop an artist eye. Tri limits and becoming more and more relaxed, and with all the tools that we have today, its easier to make things low poly with decent edge flow.
Nice progress! Crits: Fingers are looking a little thin for being inside of gloves, kind of star-fishy, like sub-d smoothed and relaxed things a little too much. I think I see a few gaps in the armor?
