In your first example, the map generated by nDo is incorrect and the one generated by SD is actually the correct interpretation of the height map. I think it looks awesome, especially the rendering of the background city is great. The amount of control the player has will really make or break this game for me. If the path is too linear, or if all I can do is hit the right button at the right time it's going to be boring. It didn't look that promising on that front…
