IDK, the gun looks a little blocky when you baked all the details down into the normal map. The greyer materials at the center of the gun look more like slate than metal.

Idk if you plan to keep that cream color but I love it. Very calm looking to me which gives a nice contrast to your first one looking bright and exciting and all.
Awesome, that vid looks great, and the pdf is very interesting! Lots of neat stuff in there, not only the geo pipeline, but also all the texture stuff, would love to give this kind of tech a try.
I had a similar issue at work yesterday- had to shut down max and start up again- also lots of random crashes too, even when it's idling in the background..... grrrr

Yeah, idk. I really only shiftdrag when I don't want precise exutrusions or extrusions around a bend. For that I use the IC tool or extrude via a face if possible.
