Hey guys, im having a problem in my environment with light leaks. I have 2 walls, both static mesh size 16 width, one wall is straight other is at a slight angel. Even when i weld it to a one object it still leaks. The main light is a dominant light if that matters>?
Im a 16 year old 3D Artist from austria and i really need lots of good criticism on my work so i can improve! This is my latest art series "Surrealism Series". Id really appreciate your criticism on my work! ^^ Thanks in advance : )
Hi, some "generators" (substance fx) in SP need a world space nm. I bake my stuff in xnormal, so can you also use an object space nm, instead of world space, cause both maps are similar? p.s: will there be a 16 bit tiff export format? thx
I all, Im currently modeling a M1A socom 16, but before i go any further i would like to know if my edge are too hard for a good normal map done with a projection cage? and by the way that's the front part of the barrel... the muzzle flash reducer. Thx
Sharing a good deal If anyone is looking for a vga cable for the xb360, Target has the Psyclone Essentials brand for $16. I had gone to Best Buy earlier and the official VGA is $59.99. This cable works great on my widescreen LCD at 1280x720 returning the other one to best Buy tomorrow.
Bloodwych, Bard's Tale, Hired Guns awesome, what specs does it run at? Thinking about getting it for my commute. Seriously looks good, loving the Land of Lore videos alos, had to skip to near the end after number 16.
I seem to remember a good set of obese woman references on fineart.sk Here we go. http://www.fineart.sk/index.php?s=16&cat=19 I'm pretty sure I had more of these, but I'm not sure where they came from.
I made a new Barb on Hard. Got to lv 16, and it's been a little too easy. Tried a Witch Doctor on Expert, but I don't like the class that much. Gonna try Wizard on Expert instead. (my main is a Monk, btw.)
After some testing I just went with the 4 separated functions, and 4x4 (16) tiles at maximum. Thread and download here: http://polycount.com/discussion/193086/udim-function-collection-and-material-templates/p1?new=1 Have fun!
Yes, this is essentially what happens. The content is baked at a much higher bit depth, but converted to 8 bit or 16 bit depending on your file type/settings. With dither on, it will add some random noise to prevent banding/stair stepping artifacts.
