I love the model, it's very inspiring. I'm hoping my bike will turn out as well. Now onto biz, the knee dents are still not quite right. You can see what I mean if you take a look at a ref tank from the back.
Yeah I think they were going for "Fill" with "НАЛИВ". And with two valves on top knowing which one to open could be important. :) "hot" girls are always a good direction though. Would be awesome to see some mig engine inspired flame wand though. :D
HonkyPunch, You make a good point. I wouldn't claim that I made it, persay. I'd give credit where credit was do, and say that I made the 3D part of it as 1: Portfolio Practise and 2: Inspiration / Fan Art / Personal work? Thanks for the input!
Hey Tim! Like I said, awesome that you were spurred on by our concept art to create something! It's a great being able to inspire! Thanks for the compliments on the concept art as well! You're up on our dev blog now :) http://snowcastlegames.com/fan-art/
Not much to critique here. You've shown us a cube. Make it less cube-y would be a start. Don't forget about Z-axis design. Multiple levels. It's really flat right now. Look at some old UT maps if you need inspiration.
lil more work on him till tomorrow, re comes out...so i gotta get more inspiration. The overall silhouette sucks...though ill fix it up when i figure out where im going with this. Close up on face changes
Alright, here goes! This is a weapon for Tidehunter, where the concept (hopefully obvious) is that he's stuck a swordfish with an oversized fish-hook and is using it as a weapon. Also this contest inspired me to finally make an account and make my first post! Original concept: Current WIP sculpt:
A videogame crossover request from a friend of mine who wanted a character from Dragon Age 2 put into the Assassin's Creed universe. Visual concept was inspired by one of Craig Mullen's AC illustrations for Ubisoft, although the setting was changed to accommodate a more exotic locale.
The bell is really cool I like it. I'm making some armour and trying to go for a similar look but having a hard time finding reference, is there anything I can search in particular to find more images like this? Or anything that inspired you? I'd really appreciate it! :)
This movie is exactly what you need. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/20,000_Leagues_Under_the_Sea_(1954_film) It's a 1950's movie adaptation of Jules Vernes famous submarine book. I mean, how much closer can you get? Wouldn't be surprised if the concept was actually inspired by the movie.
