As far as I know the usual workflow is to convert the voxels into a mesh at some point, for example to localize detail (can't do that with voxels, they're always the same size through the model). in I_R_Hopo's example, I would've used Polyboost/Graphite Tools' Flow Connect before cutting into the pipe, so as to minimise warping from having to weld things afterwards. Ahem... If you've done that then you need to make sure your vmt and vtf files are set up correctly and in the right spot. As for the modeling being way off, if you exported without it skinned to a bone, then it is using the objects local pivot which is probably way off in the distance. You should reset it on the hierarchy… -

Whats your income have to do with it? Were all assuming now since in fact I know not all game companies are created dis-equally.
