Missed this the first time. Son, never go full retard! Aside from insulting people that have just lost their jobs, you are criticizing id for raising local talent instead of getting very established artists in from around the world, which they easily could do (look at Blizzard). Surely thats a practice that should be…
I'm not sure my local park would be very happy if I did that :) This is an example of what I mean. I can see these tall grass like plants, with fluffy parts on the end. Of course I've seen these in real-life, I just can't recall what they are or precisely what they look like. You can't properly make it out in the image…
I like how you tossed the yellow on the blue rocks, and placed the blue on the yellow skulls. U could try a brighter, sunny-day-sky blue there to fit the local value of the material (which is lighter than the rocks') The same color treatment is more transparent / gradienty in the earthy example, I'd like to see more "hard…
@khaos if you plan ahead, you can definitely put more geo there. You can also use several of the polishing options in the Deformation drop-down (I typically use "polish by features" and "polish" - with the open circle for the latter. That will smooth out a lot of those kinds of areas. Masking those parts will also help…
You have to freeze the transformation > clear the transformations and double click the rotation button to pull out a menu for the transformation to switch to global transformation from Local. This happens when you have too much history of rotations on one object. EDIT: Be sure that the object is selected before you freeze…
Thanks. I currently have an interview lined up with a local game studio, but I don't want to say much about it until after it happens. I try to be fairly professional and courteous anywhere I go online, even when I'm using a throwaway alias, because I know I'm extremely easy to find both online and off.
good job overall, especially the area around here eyes is very striking. i'd turn off local reflections though, there are some artifacts, especially visible on the lower side of her nose. also there is a certain disconnect between the lip diffuse and the other maps, i'd try to put some of that detail atleast in the…
I'm gonna say this ver lost it's tight lighting. There r now colors bouncing everywhere without a clear design. In the previous version, which simply had less, the ambiance was cool and some local lights were warm. Less was more. Now it's completely mixed in my eyes... Maybe look at it fresh with as many lights as there…
