having an active member with admin rights would make a lot of sense. Also would it not make sense to see what the spawn point is like before planning stuff around it? Local Geography could add a lot of interesting stuff to the spawn, rather than just having a flattened out plane. -

I think this is an issue with the files not having exported normals, which my plugin is trying to access. I've got a check in for that in my local build of the plugin, but I'll have to do a bit of testing before I release it. For the time being, if you select Average Normals, does the issue go away? -

I don't think that Mirror's Edge one is 3d, I think that's a concept art done in photoshop. I could be wrong, but I don't think the game itself had local reflections like that. Again, I haven't played it in a long time, so I could very well be mistaken. -

Welcome to polycount, Joe, make yourself comfy. Observe local customs, post some crits (and your own works in progress!) and you shouldn't have any trouble fitting in. Don't mind some of the grumpier regulars Reminds me, I keep needing to finish that newcomer guide I was writing... -

I do agree that westerners don't migrate into other societys, but they do create nicer areas. In spain for instance, westerners sharing the business with the local folk, having an all-english bar. If I were thrown into another country knowing this was my new home, I'd respect that and at least speak the language. -

Just go down to the local compusa or best buy and try out a few see what gets you the best results in store. It doesn't matter if the camera can take cool pictures if you cant with it. Its the sure fire way to make sure you get what you want. -

The above posted script should select the edge randomly, is that not what you wanted? If you want to select a specific loop then will need to know what you're trying to achieve since there are so many ways to go about it. You could for example select the edge closest to the camera/mouse, world/local position, normal… -

Tried to play with a friend. The poster is great, the first level seems pretty decent. But we got best available server, and there was low gravity, speed move crouch... So I loaded it up local and same thing. Tell me that isn't part of it please. About the only mod I enjoy is class change for infected.
