I think the hands look pretty great as they are. Good idea to have the lance in her main hands, really helps with the composition. One thought I had was perhaps having more of the multiple arms showing, meaning upto a little above the elbow so they can extend outwards a bit and you can bend them at the elbow. -

Looks really close to the original, the welding seams look more like mesh errors than seams tho, maybe extend them a bit towards the bot and top so its more clear from a distance what they are. They also dont seem to connect, looking more like bubble gum that is attached, but textures likely will fix that -

He means not to give your business card to people you actually don't intend to communicate with. I learned my lesson. I used to give business cards to extended family, but then they start sending me junk e-mail and calling me on my work phone. Now I just tell them I'm out. -

wow theres been a marked improvement since ur first attempts keep it up. only crits i can come with for now is the chin area. The chin itself seems to be sunken in and the w crease under the lip comes to sharp in the middle. Also at the side of the eyes it could use a little volume try extending the brow into that area. -

Yeah, NEX has taken some huge strides from when I first heard about it. It's a totally awesome toolset for maya now. If you can't spend the cash, though, make highend3d's download section your first stop when you're looking for something to extend maya to be more familiar or intuitive for you. -
